Fluidic Osteopathy – Poyet Method

The training is divided into four units of five days each. Between one unit and the following one, the students have enough time to pratice in order to assimilate the method.

4th UNIT

  • Five days of "practice", revisions, integration of the knowledge, specific applications and questions, supervision from the Trainers for a complete assimilation of the Method.
 

This method is complementary to other types of treatments. It relaunches the necessary information for the organism to find again its natural Vital Fluidic Dynamic.
This type of training is open to all the practitioners of manual therapies or masseurs, who prefer to develop the subtle listening and the "feeling" rather than only gaining manual technicality.

Meridian Stretching

Meridian Stretching exercises have been handed down to us from traditional Zen Shiatsu teaching, by the Japanese master Shizuto Masunaga . This system provides a concrete and intelligent approach to 'living the health within us' , allowing us to feel it circulate freely throughout the body. One of Shizuto Masunaga's last legacies was the system of BASIC exercises for the meridians. A renowned Shiatsu practitioner, he became aware that personal, active participation was indispensable for achieving and maintaining a STATE OF HEALTH.
Meridian Stretching consists of various positions for stretching the main energy circuits through 'relaxed awareness' . Simple stretching exercises become a way of involving the whole being. Apart from its Energetic-gym aspects, meridian stretching is based on a holistic philosophy of the individual. Masunaga happily integrated his oriental knowledge with certain western aspects such as Gestalt therapy. The 'body-spirit' concept is applied completely to the exercises and positions which he created and personally experimented. Stretching the Meridians and corresponding muscle chains, facilitates fluid-flexibility
during the execution of the 7 main positions. Bodily awareness made to work through positioning and breathing, rapidly restores a more harmonious fluidity and an evident recovery of energetic shape. The experience of awareness of these energetic circulations clarifies, in an holistic way, the personal aspects of their imbalance. These imbalances become apparent at the onset of psychosomatic conditions and
over time, become deep-rooted in our physical structure. Sometimes they unsettle our attitude and our bodily aspect, as well as its vital tone. Apart from the liberating aspects of these positions, those who carry them out can use them as a personal tool for understanding, and hence for improving their body maintenance. The 'professional' can chose and advise those he helps, as to which positions will become for them the ideal Personalized Meditating Position.
